In short

We only ask for your email if you subscribe to the alerts. We use Google cookies to measure visits and show ads. We don't sell your data and you can ask us to delete it whenever you want.

At FinanciaMente we respect your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Data controller

The party responsible for processing your data is the owner of the FinanciaMente site, based in the Republic of Paraguay. The only channel for any personal data matter is the site's Contact form.

2. Data we collect

  • Data you give us: your email address when you subscribe to the alerts, and the information you include when you write to us.
  • Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and clicks, collected through cookies and similar technologies from us and from third parties (Google Analytics and Google AdSense).
  • Data in your browser: the article checklist and the notice you close are stored only on your device (local storage). The calculator and the quiz don't store anything. None of this reaches us.

We don't collect financial or banking data, or sensitive personal data. We will never ask you for passwords or card numbers.

3. What we use your data for

Primary purposes (necessary to give you the service you request):

  • Sending you the rate alerts and the newsletter you subscribed to.
  • Answering your messages.

Secondary purposes (you can object without losing the service):

  • Measuring use of the site and improving the content.
  • Showing advertising, which may be personalized to your interests.

If you don't want us to use your data for the secondary purposes, write to us from Contact with the subject "I do not consent to secondary purposes".

4. Cookies and Google advertising

This site may use Google AdSense to show ads once we turn it on. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show you ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses data, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Some features of the site might stop working.

5. Who we share your data with

We don't sell or rent your data. We only share it with providers that help us run the site, under their own privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare (site hosting).
  • The email provider we use to send the alerts, once they're turned on.
  • Google (Analytics and AdSense).

When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (for example, Revolut or XTB) may record that you arrived from FinanciaMente. What you do on that site is governed by its own privacy notice.

6. International transfers

Our providers may store data on servers outside your country, including the United States and the European Union. By using the site you accept these transfers, which are made with providers that apply reasonable security measures.

7. Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, rectify it, cancel it or object to its use (ARCO rights, under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties), as well as withdraw your consent. The rights that the law of your country grants you also apply.

To do so, write to us from the Contact form with the subject "ARCO rights", stating the email you registered with and what you're requesting, and attach an ID to confirm it's you. We reply within a maximum of 20 business days. To stop receiving emails, just use the unsubscribe link included in every message.

8. Retention and security

We keep your email as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove it from the active list. We apply reasonable measures to protect your data, although no system on the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Minors

This site is aimed at people over 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. We'll publish the current version on this page with its update date.
